Is Nacpan Beach worth visiting? What is it be famous for?

Absolutely! TripAdvisor and CNN travel often name it one of the world’s top ten beaches. Unlike beaches that are overdeveloped, this place keeps its natural charm with plenty of coconut trees and low-density buildings.

Nacpan Beach is a peaceful escape from the crowded El Nido town. It has a four kilometer golden beach. Even in the high season, you can find a quiet spot. The sunset is the best in Palawan. The golden light on the water is truly stunning.

Best Nacpan beach accommodation: Nacpan Beach Glamping

This is the most iconic luxury camping here. Tents sit among coconut trees. Each tent has two big beds, bean bags, and air conditioning.

Since it is camping, you will hear waves and bugs. The shared bathrooms are clean but a bit dark at night.

Nacpan beach glamping reviews

Honestly, the Nacpan Beach glamping reviews don’t lie, this place is something else. Watching the sunset on an evening stroll along the sand is pure magic, total bliss for the soul. The tents will surprise you too.

You’d reckon they’d cop the heat during the day, but the split system aircon keeps things lovely and cool the whole time. Rooms are bright, comfy and spotless. The pool is immaculate and never packed like the hotels in town. The staff are absolute legends, always smiling and happy to help. And stepping straight out onto that perfect beach? You’ll be smitten.

Best Nacpan beach accommodation: Nacpan Beach Resort

If you prefer real walls, choose this resort. It offers more privacy and better noise control. You can choose from mountain, sea, or garden views. There is also a VIP suite.

There is no elevator, but staff will help with bags. Rooms have a small desk, fridge, and balcony. The bathrooms are large with great mirrors. Just note that the shower is a fixed rainfall type.

Nacpan beach resort reviews

Once you check in, the free beach loungers are yours to use, which is such a winner. Find a comfy spot, watch the waves roll in, and time just slips away. No need to plan a thing, simply doing nothing on the sand is bliss.

The pool’s a ripper too, clean and never crowded, so you can laze poolside then wander down for a swim. Honestly, the beach and the water are stunning. We only booked one night and regretted it big time. Do yourself a favour and stay longer.

Best Nacpan beach accommodation: Nacpan Beach Villa

These villas offer more private space. They have small terraces for couples or families. They are further from the public areas for a private feel.

There are single huts and double story huts. The single huts are smaller. Double story ones have a living room on the first floor.

Nacpan beach villa reviews

If you’ve been scrolling the Nacpan Beach villa reviews, let us save you the trouble. The privacy here is brilliant, with leafy greenery screening you off from the other guests.

You’ve got your own little kitchen to whip up a feed without bothering anyone. The space is mega roomy and comfy, heaps more room to spread out than your average room, plus everything’s brand new.

For groups or families, it’s a ripper choice. The staff were top notch, the location peaceful with white sandy beaches, the villas gorgeous and fully kitted out, and the brekkie was decent too. All up, a wonderful stay.

Overview of Nacpan Beach accommodation options including glamping resort and villas in El Nido
Nacpan beach accommodations

Where is Nacpan Beach located? How far is Nacpan Beach from El Nido?

It is about 20 kilometers north of El Nido town. The drive takes around 50 minutes. It sits next to Calitang Beach to form the famous Twin Beaches.

Since it faces west, the sunset views are perfect. You might even see a pink sunset if you are lucky! (It depends on the weather.)

How do I get to Nacpan Beach?

  1. Shuttle Van: This is the most comfortable way. It takes 45 minutes and you can book through your hotel or shuttle service company. These typically cost around PHP 400 for a one-way trip or PHP 700 for a same day round trip.
  2. Motorbike: This is for the adventurous. Most roads are paved now. But the last ten minutes are still bumpy dirt roads. Be careful if it rains. Travel time around 45-60 minutes.
  3. Tricycle: This takes about 60 minutes from town. It is a bumpy ride. It can be very dusty during the dry season. You can hire a tricycle arrange a return time with the driver.
  4. Beach Bus: The “Beach Bus” is a hop-on, hop-off shuttle service that officially began operating in April 2026. You can catch the bus at several points including El Nido Town Square, Corong-corong, Lio Beach and more. For Nacpan the bus only drops passengers at the main road. From there, local tricycle are included in your pass to take you to the last mile directly to the beach. You can choose a pass based on how long you’ll be using the service. Passes range from 1 to 5 days, costing between PHP 700 to PHP 2,500.

Is Nacpan Beach swimmable?

Yes, it is great for swimming! The water is clear and the slope is gentle. However, waves can be strong sometimes. Watch out for rip currents. Please swim near lifeguards or where flags are placed.

If you are staying at Nacpan Beach Resort, Glamping, and Villa, there is also a swimming pool available at the glamping area for guests to use.

Best time to visit Nacpan Beach

The best time to visit Nacpan Beach is from November to May, when you can enjoy clear skies, calm waters, and perfect beach weather. This is also the main season when baby sea turtles hatch.

However, if you’re looking for more affordable prices, you can visit from June to October. During this period, the weather is more humid with occasional rain showers and stronger winds, but you can still enjoy quieter beaches and fewer crowds.

What makes Nacpan Beach important for sea turtle conservation?

Nacpan is a vital nesting ground for Olive Ridley, Green, and Hawksbill turtles. The hotels work with the government to protect these eggs. Local teams pay fishermen to find eggs instead of selling them. They move eggs to a safe hatchery to protect them from predators.

If you visit between December and May, you might see baby turtles hatch. It’s FREE! It is very moving to see them run to the sea. You will also learn about conservation. Part of what you spend here helps fund these projects. Your vacation becomes a lesson in life. (Read more: Sea Turtle Hatchery at Nacpan Beach

How to plan an itinerary for El Nido?

When planning your El Nido trip, think about balance. A good itinerary mixes exploration with time to rest. Travel is about discovery and new experiences. Vacation is about letting go of stress and slowing down. In El Nido, you can plan both in one smooth trip.

Start your journey in El Nido Town. Spend two days on island hopping tours. Visit lagoons, beaches, and hidden coves. Tour A and C are popular and worth trying. After that, shift your pace and change location. Head to Nacpan beach for a rest. Stay one or two nights by the beach. Enjoy slow mornings and quiet sunsets. This part of the trip helps your body recover, and also lets you enjoy El Nido in a softer way.

By splitting your stay this way, your itinerary feels complete. You “travel (explore) first, and vacation(rest and recharge) later.” This balance makes the whole trip more memorable.

How many days should you stay at Nacpan Beach and Who is it for?

Most people only visit for the day. But I suggest staying at least one night.

Day 1: Arrive and enjoy the pool, spa, and sunset dinner.

Day 2: Join the turtle release or morning yoga. Explore with a kayak or SUP.

Many people want to see the turtles released, but releases usually happen late at night or early morning. Staying over will gives you a better chance to see it.

Here is good for these people:

  • Couples: The romantic vibe is perfect for anniversaries or proposals.
  • Families: Kids love the beach and the turtle education.
  • Office workers: This isn’t the kind of place where you fill up your schedule. The slow pace and weak internet signal are actually the best way to detox your mind.

I hope this guide helps your El Nido trip. Who is the first person you want to bring here? Or do you want to come alone!
