Clark International Airport (CRK) Departure

Clark to El Nido Travel Guide: Flight from CRK Airport(2026)

In late March 2026, the government made a big change. All propeller plane flights were moved from Manila Airport (NAIA) to Clark International Airport (CRK) to reduce congestion.

Now, Clark is the main gateway to El Nido. It is the best choice if you want to avoid Manila’s terrible traffic. The experience is much more relaxing. You can reach El Nido in just 1.5 hours from here.

This shift also introduces travelers to a world-class facility. Clark International Airport (CRK) has achieved remarkable international recognition. It was named one of the World’s Most Beautiful Airports in 2023 by the Prix Versailles. It then won the International Airport of the Year in the Philippines in 2024. Most recently, it received the 2025 award for Best Airport at Arrivals Globally from the ACI.

Below is a comprehensive guide to Clark International Airport (CRK). It includes how it provides a more relaxed and efficient travel experience, how to get there, and how to take a direct flight to El Nido.

Pro Tips for Travelers Flying from Clark to El Nido (FAQ)

How much connection time do I need?

I suggest 2.5 to 4 hours. Even if you stay in the same terminal, you must wait for bags. If you are coming from Manila by car, leave 4 hours for traffic.

Can I get a SIM card and cash at the airport?

Yes! Do this at Clark Airport. It is much easier than doing it in El Nido. The exchange rates are also better.

Can I stay overnight at the airport?

You can, but it is not very comfortable. I suggest staying in “Koreatown.” It is 15 minutes away. There are many hotels and 24-hour massage spas there. Some shops at the airport are closed late at night, and only basic seating is available. For a more comfortable experience, it’s best to relax at the Plaza Premium Lounge.

When are flights cheapest?

• Low Season (June-Oct): PHP 8,000 – 10,000. (Round trip)
• High Season (Nov-May): PHP 10,000 – 18,000. (Round trip)
Book 2-4 months early on the Cebu Pacific website, due to the seat not being too much.

What do I need to enter the Philippines?

You need your E-travel registration, a passport valid for 6 months, a visa (visa-free entry is available for many nationalities) and a return ticket.

What are Terminal Fees?

These are already included in your ticket price. You do not need to pay extra at the airport. You may also check your ticket if the Travel tax and Terminal fee have already been paid upon booking.
